Marcy Smorey-Giger is the founder of Smorey Giger Law, a woman-owned business specializing in helping small businesses with their legal needs. She is an Adjunct Professor at both the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and the Duquesne University School of Law, where she teaches courses in business law and how to be an In-House Counsel in modern corporations. She received both her Juris Doctor and her Master of Science degrees from Duquesne University, and she earned her Bachelor of Science from Westminster College. Marcy has worked within in-house corporate law departments for her entire legal career with her most recent position as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for DynaVox Inc., a leading U.S. provider of speech generating devices and symbol-adapted special education software. Prior to joining DynaVox Inc., Marcy was the Corporate Counsel and Secretary of WESCO International, Inc., a Fortune 500 and NYSE-listed company.
