City of Contracts Podcasts & Webinars
with Ken Adams
Note that this episode has audio only.
In this episode of the "City of Contracts" podcast, Ken Adams speaks with Casey Flaherty, gadfly and now director of legal project management at the global law firm Baker McKenzie. Ken and Casey have a freewheeling conversation about what's involved in getting lawyers to do stuff differently. (Well, Casey does the freewheeling part, with his usual aplomb.) For some background reading, see this 2018 blog post in which Casey ruminates on the contract-drafting process.
Casey Flaherty is a former litigator, in-house counsel, and legal operations consultant. He writes and speaks on the evolution of legal service delivery—i.e., how we leverage expertise through process and technology.
Before joining Baker McKenzie, Casey was an Associate at Holland & Knight, Corporate Counsel at Kia Motors America, and an Advisory Board Member of Nextlaw Labs. Casey also serves as a Principal at Procertas. He earned his Juris Doctor from USC Gould School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Asian Studies / Humanities from Loyola Marymount University.
Thank you Casey for joining us for this conversation.
