LegalSifter Appoints Suzanne Porter as General Counsel, Reinforcing Commitment to Legal Innovation

With her extensive legal expertise and deep understanding of the evolving legal landscape, Porter will play a pivotal role in driving LegalSifter's growth and strategic initiatives, solidifying its position as a global leader in AI-powered contract analysis.

Porter brings to LegalSifter a wealth of experience in corporate law and legal technology. Her appointment underscores LegalSifter's commitment to combining cutting-edge technology and legal expertise to revolutionize the way contracts are reviewed and analyzed. Prior to joining LegalSifter, Suzanne most recently served as the Legal Services Innovations Officer for the Arizona Supreme Court, where she developed, implemented, and oversaw all operations of the alternative business structures, legal paraprofessional, and legal service innovations programs in the Certification and Licensing Division.

As General Counsel, Porter will provide strategic counsel to LegalSifter's executive team and guide the company's legal affairs, including contract negotiations, compliance, and intellectual property protection. She will play a pivotal role in fostering partnerships with legal professionals, industry leaders, and regulatory bodies, further enhancing LegalSifter's market position and driving its expansion into new sectors and geographies.

Porter has 25 years of experience as an attorney, licensed in Ontario, New York and Arizona. Her distinguished career includes stops at White & Case, Chadbourne & Parke, Heenan Blaikie, the University of Toronto Faculty of Law (as an adjunct professor), LexisNexis (as the Director of Content for Large Law and Corporate & Public Markets), Osgoode Professional Development (as the Director, Professional Graduate Programs), and as privacy, IP, international business, and communications counsel for multiple startups.
