ReviewPro FAQs
Explore our FAQs to find answers to common questions about our practical and powerful contract management solutions.
Can AI detect missing clauses in a contract?
Yes, AI can flag missing or non-standard clauses by comparing the document against a predefined playbook or industry best practices. It helps ensure critical terms are included before signing.
Can I use my own playbooks?
Yes. You can customize LegalSifter’s standard playbooks or build new ones based on your existing content. ReviewPro makes it easy to edit and manage playbooks, and our team also offers a managed service for organizations that want expert assistance.
Can ReviewPro review and redline contracts written in languages other than English?
Do I have to review redlines one click at a time?
No. ReviewPro automatically redlines your document based on your playbook. You can then review all redlines at once and filter them by high, medium, or low importance to simplify final review and approval.
Do I have to use auto-redlining or can I simply use the issue flagging capabilities?
If you do not want to have your contracts redlined we can turn that feature off and you can still use our standard issue flagging and guidance playbooks to review contracts.
Do I have to use Microsoft Word to use ReviewPro?
Yes, the ReviewPro functionality is built specifically for the Microsoft Word application.

Does AI understand different contract types (e.g., NDAs, MSAs)?
Yes, advanced AI tools are trained on diverse contract types and can adjust their analysis based on the context and structure of each document type.
How accurate is AI in reviewing legal documents?
When properly trained, AI can achieve high accuracy‚ often matching or exceeding human performance for specific clause detection tasks. Human oversight is still essential for nuanced legal judgment.
How do you handle enhancement requests?
Clients and partners may submit enhancement requests through [email protected] or directly to their assigned Growth team member. Clients and partners may also request new Sifters specifically with our Sifter Ideas form.
How long does AI contract review take compared to manual review?
AI can review a contract in minutes, whereas manual review can take hours or even days depending on complexity. This reduces turnaround time and increases team productivity significantly.
Is ReviewPro an example of agentic AI?
Yes, ReviewPro can be considered agentic AI in that it independently produces a redline based on your company’s playbook, without requiring additional input or back-and-forth during the review process.
That said, it’s a highly structured and supervised agent. It doesn’t roam freely, improvise, or apply general AI reasoning. Instead, it behaves exactly how you’d expect a well-trained second-year associate to act: follow the playbook, don’t deviate, and stay within the lines.
This deliberate design ensures consistency, transparency, and alignment with your standards—delivering the speed of agentic AI without compromising legal judgment or oversight.

What AI technology does ReviewPro use?
ReviewPro uses a combination of artificial intelligence techniques to deliver precise, reliable results:
Sifters. Sifters are contract-specific algorithms that use Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to identify and flag critical issues or missing terms in your contracts. Each Sifter is trained on thousands of real-world contracts, released to clients when it achieves 95+% accuracy, and continuously improved with expert feedback.
Generative AI. Generative AI automatically applies precise redlines that align exactly with your company’s established positions. We tightly control and constrain the AI, so that it operates like an attorney under strict supervision. We measure AI quality using thoroughness, accuracy, and edit fluency—consistently achieving a 95%+ accuracy rating. Together, these advanced AI technologies ensure ReviewPro delivers consistent, attorney-quality results, faster and more reliably than any other solution available.
