Build playbooks from any source

Create a playbook from one or multiple sources: written policy, first-party preferred-language templates, and third-party redlined contracts.

Policy documents, templates, and negotiated contracts as source material

  • Written policy. The organization’s existing contracting policy or standards documentation.
  • First-party preferred-language template. Your own template, with the language you prefer.
  • Third-party redlined contracts. Counterparty paper you have already negotiated and marked up.

A build can draw on one source or several at once. An organization that negotiates has negotiated paper, even when it has no policy document and no template.

Guided review before publishing

A build produces a draft playbook that groups positions by section and shows which of your documents each one came from. A review queue separates the positions that must be resolved from the rest.

Where two of your sources disagree on a position, the reviewer chooses which one stands. Any position can be edited or excluded, and a finalize gate confirms the playbook before it publishes.

FAQ

Our positions are not written down anywhere. Can we still use it?

A build can read contracts you have already negotiated, and most organizations have those even with no policy document and no template. Our Playbook Architects can also build the positions with you.

So the AI writes our playbook and we just accept it?

No. A build produces a draft that goes through a guided review before it is published: positions can be included or excluded and edited, source conflicts are resolved by the reviewer, and a finalize gate confirms the playbook before publishing.

We tried an AI playbook generator and it produced generic output.

The difference is the input rather than the model. A build reads your policy, your templates and your negotiated paper, so the draft holds your organization’s positions.

How long does a build take?

Progress is visible while a build runs. What paces getting a playbook live is gathering the source material, not the build itself.

Can you build our playbooks for us?

Yes. Our Playbook Architects are experts at building and optimizing contract playbooks. Playbook Architecture is for any organization that would rather have expert help than do it themselves.
